The Hotel Colonne, just a short walk from the Shrine of Padre Pio, was established in 1995 following the renovation of an old guesthouse where the Holy Father used to visit and administer the Eucharist to an elderly woman who was staying there.


Our hotel boasts an ideal location for reaching the Capuchin Friars’ Convent and Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza, a healthcare facility founded and inaugurated by Padre Pio in 1956.
